For the promises of God to be performed in your life you must love God. He must be the object of your affection and not just a byword used when you’re in trouble. You must make a commitment to put him first and for him to become your God.
For the Bible declares that in all things God works for the good of those who LOVE him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). The key in this verse is love. You must love God for all things to work together for his good.
This verse is for lovers only. You must have a relationship with Jesus. You must confess your sins and repent and receive God’s forgiveness. When you become a lover of God all your works will lead to good. This does not mean you will escape trouble or that you will be perfect, but it does mean you will continue to follow after and God will continue to lead you to the promise land.
Love is not an emotion of ecstasy, but a choice and a decision made with the mind based upon your belief upon the person or thing. When you choose to love God with every part of your being by walking in obedience to his commands, watch out for the good that will follow you all the days of your life. This good will lead you all the way to a mansion in heaven and where every tear from your eye will be dry.

This is one of those critic comments. You had me until you started dictating how I get to god to love him. The verse said to love god. Then you went on to dictate how I should do that. Just interested in how you feel about this? I am non denominational in religion so I support believe in God. Past that I have this general issue with all of them.
Let me know if this answer sounds right. Not sure, I fully understand your inquiry. Church denominations vary far and wide. You may say for example non-denominational, but this can be ambiguous to a small degree because most non-denominational churches, if not all to some degree have broken from a denominational church, so you may have a Baptist break off on his own creating a non-denominational church that takes part in traditional hymns, but also lays hands and speaks in tongues. In the book of Corinthians Paul explains that different administrations would exist, under the same Lord.
So how does one discern the truth? Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). Jesus being the foundation and sacrificial lamb gives us access to the precious promises of God. The command for every person desiring salvation is to “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38). That being done we move towards being the one who keeps God’s commands by living in him, and he in us. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us (1 John 3:24).
Lovers only is not about denominational lines or church doctrinal differences. It is about loving God through tangible evidence and not with lips alone. It’s about understanding the separation between those God hears and those he does not. God is merciful and not willing that any should perish that is why the King has not return yet, but the clock is only getting shorter and we fool ourselves if we believe God is into hearing mouth service without action. I read your post on lip service and it does not answer my question. It is a great post though and I would encouarge others to read your works there.
I will raise my question again with a diffirent example. I am going to use open door policy in all other things that give me direct access to the all powerful in any other agency. This policy is preached as needed everywhere.
So me as, yes, being turned off by this conflict especailly in all of them, please explain a god that does not have an open door policy? Because all these rituals tell me is GOD doesn’t have one which can be very easily interupted into having to go through all those earthly rituals to get throughthat door.
Another conflict, if god knows me already being powerful, then why does he need a guard? This are the conflicts that people have everywhere. CLaim all powerful then set up roadblocks to get vthere when god is supposed to be powerful enough to know me already and deal with me too.

Today, I was wondering what to share about this incredibly humbling week. We have had many emotions this week as we search for a new house.
Here is the gist of our househunting story:
Last week, we put in an offer on a house. The owners took another offer from another family. Yesterday, our realtor phoned us and told us that the financing didn’t come through for the family with the accepted offer. He asked ifwe wanted to put in another offer. He proceeded to tell us that we should offer $11,000 less than we did last week. Today, we found out our offer was accepted. Today, we are rejoicing and have a better understanding that God’s ways our not our ways. He has always helped us find a place to live as we humbly ask for His help. We are extremely grateful and amazingly stunned. Glory to God! I can’t wait to see the mansion in heaven that God has for us like Roger Tharpe blogged about!
