Near Death Experiences

spirituality
There are multiple books that have come out and no doubt hundreds more will be printed that speak on the subject of dying and being raised from the dead. Many of these stories are in direct contradiction of the word of God and should be viewed as demonic deceptions. Satan will use every aspect of life to deceive and will succeed in deceiving many.

I am not discounting the visions or the experiences as I believe they happen. Unfortunately, someone not covered by the blood of Jesus is not protected from the devil giving them visions of beautiful places and angels. He is a very powerful angel and the prince of the air. It would be foolish to underestimate him.

Spiritual power that does not come from the name Jesus is demonic. A good protection from deception is to ask or look for the name Jesus. If anyone is speaking to God and the name Jesus is missing you should immediately think deception.

Be vigilant. Protect yourself from false persuasions by reading and rereading the Bible.

Buckets of Joy!

love, joy, peace
Father, set ten angles over me and have them pour buckets of joy into my spirit. Once those buckets have been poured into my spirit, now pour out your love into my spirit. Once those buckets have emptied, now pour into my spirit peace.

Thank you Jesus for satisfying my spirit, with your Spirit of Joy, Love, and peace.

I SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOU EARLIER

I should not have allowed you to pass by without a single word about my most precious gift. I should not have kept running on the treadmill beside you without sharing a single word. I should not have allowed the … Continue reading

Job Well Done!

Well-Done-header-1200x799There are thoughts that run continually through the mind. You gather your things in the morning and you run out the door headed for work. The only thing you forgot while leaving was your presentation notes. These notes would be used to catapult you to the next level. You don’t have them and you are 35 minutes from home and the presentation is in one hour.  What is the best strategy for this situation? Go and risk being tardy or become super creative within the hour before presenting?

Time and chance happens to them all. You could very well go in the meeting without your first idea and make it or your second idea could bomb it. You really do not know. If you are a Christian that has been fellowshipping with Jesus, you know that all things work together for good to them that love God.  This knowledge not laced with a close relationship with Jesus provides little comfort.

Sweat develops on your forehead and you become frantic. What do you do? You calm yourself with a quiet prayer and begin asking the Lord for on the spot wisdom. You trust him and go into the meeting and present your second idea. The moment you step in front and begin to present, peace ensues.

The presentation was remarkable and you received your catapult. You thank the Lord for his faithfulness and grace.

When you have a victory from the Lord do not stop praising and thanking him. Let it be your lifestyle.

IT’S DANGEROUS TO FORGET

Closeup portrait of a happy young woman smiling isolated on white background

There may be humor in the guy who forgets his anniversary and his cute wife hits him over the head with a paper towel or thumps him on the forehead.  There may be a chuckle when someone forgets to check themselves before leaving the bathroom and toilet paper is hanging from their pants as they walk down the work hallway. We are prone to forget things and sometimes often, but there are some things that are too dangerous to forget.

THE LORD

Those who choose not to retain the knowledge of God will lose their soul. “But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it–not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it–they will be blessed in what they do” (James 1:25).

Blessings flow to those who remember the Lord and when this life is over they will enjoy eternal life.

“Be careful, and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them fade from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them” (Deuteronomy 4:9).

“For the mystery of iniquity does already work: only he who now restrains will do so, until he be taken out of the way” (2 Thessalonians 2:7).  You may have read my post titled “THE BIBLE on the History Channel”, if not, you should read the post and the comments. I believe the information is rewarding and compliments Deuteronomy 4:9, above, particularly the part on teaching your children.

May you not forget the word of God as it is written and may you seek to retain his knowledge for the world is working hard to deceive. Rightly dividing the word of truth will be required, because the world is using the Bible to deceive. This concept is not foreign, but old. Satan tried the same with Jesus in the wilderness.

Just because someone holds the Bible and teaches from the Bible does not mean this person is saved and knows the Lord. Remember the Pharisees?

It’s dangerous to forget that belief in Jesus will incur persecution.  Think it not strange. They persecuted Jesus and they will persecute you.
