Saving yourself is Biblical. In the midst, of loving your neighbor as yourself, loving your wife, like Christ loves the church, you must save yourself first. The man or woman who losses their life for Jesus first, will find it. The man or woman who is concerned about God will be concerned about the people they spend time with. The people you befriend will either strengthen your relationship with Jesus or diminish it.
A Christian should never forget that a non-believer is your enemy. They are your enemy because they operate under the delusion of Satan. This means they may not believe their speech harms you, but their speech will be stained with the flesh and not be useful for you to maintain a lifestyle of holiness. This does not mean you become hostile or ungodly toward them, it means you must guard your heart against them.
Satan will use them to steal, kill and destroy your relationship with Jesus. Satan will use ungodly people to help drag you to hell. God tells us to separate ourselves and save ourselves from this corrupt generation. It will not be easy, but it will be safe. Never forget the way that leads to eternal life is narrow and few find it. At the writing of this blog, thousands have descended into hell and many of them are able to point to people who were directly instrumental in their descent.
Save yourself through separating yourself unto Godly people and forsaking those who may appear to have your best interest in mind, but are the devils slaves.
Your body comes with a predisposition for sinning. The fall in the Garden of Eden ruined the original genetic code for mankind. Sin corrupted the bloodline. Now running through your flesh is a demonic code that can only be eradicated by a new blood line, by faith through Jesus Christ. Once you receive the Savior, which is Christ the Lord, you still live in the old bloodline. Spiritually, you have been made new, hence a desire to live for Jesus and the awareness of heaven and hell. Unfortunately, death is inevitable as God specifically told Adam the tree in the midst of the garden would kill him, if he chose to eat of the fruit of that tree. He chose to eat the fruit of that tree.
Paul, comes along after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and tells us to “fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12). This is the only prescription we have to ensure our salvation. Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).
The wrath of God is coming on the children of disobedience. We cannot win against our flesh without a direct assault against our flesh by spending time soaking in the presence of God and being busy doing the Fathers business. Being saved is work. Making sure you make it to the end is going to be difficult.
You may have heard the saying you’re so heavenly minded that you are no earthly good? I understand the premise, however it is misleading. Why? Everything you do on earth will be a reflection of what you will experience in the afterlife. Case in point. A believer in Jesus Christ was once a sinner, but has been saved by grace and that person has been cleansed and created new. From this point on everything that Christian does will either maximize his heavenly wealth or minimize it by the choices they make on earth.
When you increase your capacity to influence others and help others and pray for others these actions increase your heavenly wealth and these actions are all done on earth. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus, none of the actions you take will be a reward. Hell is the home of every sinner that does not have Jesus covering and forgiveness. First things first and give your life to Jesus and then your good works are increasing your heavenly wealth.
You should work diligently to increase your heavenly wealth. Why? Because you will spend eternity in heaven and not on earth. King Jesus is in heaven and you should serve him well on earth. He calls us to pray, so we should pray. He calls us to fast so we should fast. He calls us to give, so we should give. He calls us to love, so we should love. All things done for Jesus, through the power of God by abiding in him will produce heavenly wealth.
As you maximize your earthly wealth use it fund your heavenly wealth. When you ask the Lord how to maximize and increase your heavenly wealth, he will give you the tools to do so. God created us with the difficult task of fearing him and keeping his commands for the purpose of building wealth. Jesus said, he left to prepare a mansion for you. Wealth has always been God’s goal, but sin turns it into idolatry. Keep doing good works and understand all of your good works are building for you treasures in heaven.
Can you handle the truth?
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. “For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it (Matthew 7:13-14).
“Make every effort to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to (Luke 13:24).
If someone has touched you deeply and you thought that they were an Angel from up above. Then comment with your testimony and let others see the power of love.
