Your body comes with a predisposition for sinning. The fall in the Garden of Eden ruined the original genetic code for mankind. Sin corrupted the bloodline. Now running through your flesh is a demonic code that can only be eradicated by a new blood line, by faith through Jesus Christ. Once you receive the Savior, which is Christ the Lord, you still live in the old bloodline. Spiritually, you have been made new, hence a desire to live for Jesus and the awareness of heaven and hell. Unfortunately, death is inevitable as God specifically told Adam the tree in the midst of the garden would kill him, if he chose to eat of the fruit of that tree. He chose to eat the fruit of that tree.
Paul, comes along after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and tells us to “fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses (1 Timothy 6:12). This is the only prescription we have to ensure our salvation. Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed–not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence–continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2:12).
The wrath of God is coming on the children of disobedience. We cannot win against our flesh without a direct assault against our flesh by spending time soaking in the presence of God and being busy doing the Fathers business. Being saved is work. Making sure you make it to the end is going to be difficult.
Your job is to speak out on the things that make for solid doctrine. Guide older men into lives of temperance, dignity, and wisdom, into healthy faith, love, and endurance. Guide older women into lives of reverence so they end up as neither gossips nor drunks, but models of goodness. By looking at them, the younger women will know how to love their husbands and children, be virtuous and pure, keep a good house, be good wives. We don’t want anyone looking down on God’s Message because of their behavior. Also, guide the young men to live disciplined lives. – Titus 2:1-6

It is nearly impossible to love your enemies. Those who willfully choose to hate you and go out of there way to destroy you. It is difficult to love your spouse who refuses to either work or have sex with you. It is difficult to love your children who continually work against you or worse try and harm you. It is difficult to love your work partners who work to sabotage you or the racist on your job. It is difficult to love when everyone around you is cold.
The automatic love comes from loving God. It is the first command. To love God with all of your heart, mind and strength. It is here where the automatic love for everyone else is now possible. It is here where you receive supernatural power to love others the right way. It is here where God shares his heart with you and energizes you to love others. Your trouble of loving others starts with your trouble or lack of love for Jesus Christ. When you open the doors of your heart to Jesus without any reservation the heart of God opens without reservation for you. Now you are becoming filled with God’s love and his love seeps through your pores and touches those around you, but keep this in mind that some with hard hearts will still hate you.
Automatic love is for you. It secures your place in heaven and increases your crowns in glory. Automatic love is your peace and joy. It makes you better and increases your spiritual power in God. It is not a tool for manipulating others to love you, because some people will still hate your guts. Never forget Jesus who is love was still crucified by hard hearted people.
The beauty of automatic love is that you will love the right way. The discerning way. You will also bear good fruit this way. The fruit you bear this way will remain. Now choose to love God with your whole heart. In Jesus name.
And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend (James 2:23). Jesus said, “You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you” (John 15:14-15). Christians are friends of God. Like any friend there are great benefits from friendship. A friend shares there secrets, opens their home, gives gifts, and spends quality time. There are boundaries in friendship. Rules that keep the friendship intact. Obeying those rules keeps the friendship and breaking them will ruin it. Friends are faithful to you and you can trust them.
Being God’s friend is very much the same. Listen: You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God (James 4:4). Do you hear God saying are you with me? Are you my friend? Don’t claim to be my friend and disobey the rules of our friendship or betray my trust by following my enemy.
Are you a friend of God? Do you want to be his friend? Be faithful to the rules of this friendship. He is always faithful and upfront about how he deals with his creatures called man. A friendship with God does not protect you from trouble, similar to a regular friend, but with the trouble like a regular friend God is there to comfort you.
Always keep this thought in mind. This world is not the home of the Christian. Our home is in heaven. Never forget that our friend (God) wants us to be close to him.
When the world has become your benchmark for success you have lost your first love and your affections have been set to low. The highest levels of affection are those set on things above where Christ sits on the throne. I have set my mind on Jesus the author and finisher of my faith. I understand that this world is full of sin and fallen into a decay which God himself will destroy. The ungodly will hate you. Demons hate you. Fallen angels hate you. You have enemies that you cannot see all around you. Their number one goal is to limit your effectiveness for Jesus and to steal your joy.
Don’t allow the devil to steal your joy. The joy of the Lord is your strength. God has not hidden his plan from you. He told you that trials and tribulations would accompany the believer. He also told you that he would bless you through the persecution, only let it be for righteousness and not sin. God will bless you and place favor on your life when you’re committed to him. Love the Lord with all of your heart, mind, and strength. Don’t avert your eyes and compare yourself with others. Especially, if you don’t want to compare their pain, labor and suffering.
Heavenly Father, I am disconnecting myself from positioning my mind on things below and through your power have shifted my thoughts toward the blessings that are flowing inside me through your Holy Spirit. The power of God is filling me and his joy is becoming my own. I have chosen the best part. I can take my relationship with Jesus pass the curtain of death and I know Jesus has prepared a mansion for me. No earthly home compares to what Jesus is preparing for me. My mind is on the mansion, I will never lose. One that is paid in full and handcrafted by God.
