DON’T LEAVE THE CROSS

It is important to keep at the forefront of ones mind the cross. Why? It is the foundation of Christianity. Paul said,  “for I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2). As the days progress there will be more and more challenges to your faith in Jesus.

Evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13). How? Through smooth speech and cunning craftiness will men and women be moved by teachers to fulfill the requirements of the flesh and not God.

Be on guard to remember when you are despised for doing well, that Jesus, who was perfect was crucified. Steven a man filled with the Spirit of God was stoned to death. Many others within scripture and within our contemporary setting are being killed for telling the truth.

So, if you feel bad or beaten and you know your living holy, understand the wicked are being set up and they will have their day. Because God is just he will make sure you have your day as well. Your eternal life is on the way.

BREATHE WELL IN SUFFERING

It is natural to run from the sufferings of this life, only to find more suffering. Some work to drown sorrows in alcohol, sex, drugs, gambling, shopping, etc. Some may use weird techniques to eliminate the pain by meditating on absolutely nothing. When will earthly suffering end? The answer: The Grave. You must run through life with this understanding. Just accept that life’s suffering unites color, sex, and socio-economic status. There is a natural unity in all of mankind and that is suffering.

The moment resolution is made about suffering in this life, you can move on with faith believing and trusting in the impossible. Jesus learned obedience by the things he suffered. Suffering is as natural as breathing air. Let the fire of suffering make you shine as gold.

There are two types of suffering. The first is because of disobedience to Christ and the second is obedience to Christ. You can add unnecessary suffering to your life. For all the pleasure that sin gives there is a tail that brings suffering. Ask the addict who lost everything they had in their life because of it. This suffering should be avoided and can be avoided by obeying the voice of God and understanding his will for your life. The second suffering can never be avoided. This suffering is found when you choose to obey God’s word over strong desires to sin against it.

There is a pain that develops in telling your flesh the answer is no. Ask the dieter who tries diligently to put down the potato chips, ice cream, pizza etc.  The body will fight you. The devil will fight you. Spiritual darkness in heavenly places is against your success. Why? Your success shines the light for others to see and rejoice in the fact that making it is possible.

Breathing well in suffering is found in understanding that your suffering is not strange. For the follower of Jesus Christ understands that it is common to all believers. Since it is common, sit back and trust the Lord for the roller-coaster ride is almost over. Grab the hand next to you and say we will make it. Don’t allow the screams of others to cause you to lose hope. Jesus will never leave or forsake you and in the end he will be there to bring you home.

Christians Have Their Work Cut Out

The climate in America is becoming more and more hostile to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The criminals of sexual abuse, sexual assault, child abuse, human trafficking and sex trafficking are running the show. We know this, by the Harvey Weisteins and countless female school teachers, and priest who get slaps on the wrist with no jail time. We know this because our television screen is filled with devilish sex and our homes are becoming infiltrated with paedophiles, transgenders revealing their genitals to children in school and nothing is being done about it.

The Lord showed us what things must come to past before the end comes. He shows us a world filled with hate. The love of many growing cold and mother’s losing their natural affection for their children. Today, we see more single male parents and female cheaters than ever before. We see mothers abandoning their responsibility as parents to please themselves and live ungodly lives that are detrimental to good order and discipline.

The increase in blended families is a response to the family break down all over America. Feminism has not helped women, but harmed them. We have more females committing suicide and strung out on drugs, then in the past. More females committing murder and sexual crimes. Although the church is well financed the Christian message at large is one of acceptance, cowardice, and fear.

Christians have their work cut out. I don’t believe our current trajectory can be changed. One million moms and similar organizations are trying, but the wolf is too strong. It is time for Christians to starve so-called Christian organizations that do not preach against sin. The Joel Osteen churches are harming Christianity. The white evangelical church gave the world a damaging argument with their demonization of interracial marriage.

Now people think the Christian stance has changed on interracial marriage, but refuses to move, although some have on same-sex marriage. Christianity has always been for interracial marriage, the demonically filled racist teachers have deceived people who fail to read the Bible for themselves.

Christians have their work cut out for them. If you are going to raise Christian children who adhere to the doctrines of Christ, you must be diligent and deliberate. There is no such thing as osmosis in Christianity. Children must be trained in righteousness. They must be consistently told the things of God. Why do you think the world is so consistent with their demonic message? Because their message is fragile.

Only a fool thinks two men and two women is better then a man and a woman. Only a fool thinks abortion is ok. Only fools believe all these things came together by osmosis. There is a reason why the Bible calls unbelievers fools. They cannot see even in the midst of a miracle.

Remember this story:

There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou would send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. – Luke 16:19:31

 

 

Future Minded Christians

It is recorded in the pages of Scripture that “a good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children (Proverbs 13:22). A good man sees into the future and plans out his heritage. A good man has a vision for the present and a vision for the future. A good man does not think about himself or herself alone, they think about their children. They think about the position that they want to leave them in before their life is over. A good man leaves an inheritance.

A selfish person, an ignorant person, an evil man leaves nothing. The plans of the diligent bring plenty, as surely as haste leads to poverty (Proverbs 21:5).  The slacker craves, yet gets nothing, but the soul of the diligent is fully satisfied (Proverbs 13:4). It is extremely important for the Christian to consider their choices in light of the present and in light of their own demise. Your vision should not end, when you do. Look at Elisha, whose last miracle was accomplished after he perished.

“And Elisha died and was buried. Now the Moabite raiders used to come into the land every spring. Once, as the Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders, so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. And when he touched the bones of Elisha, the man was revived and stood up on his feet.” – 2 Kings 13:20-21

Your vision, your heritage, should outlive you. You should be accomplishing things after you have already died.

Texas newspaper yanks endorsement of ex-judge after he admits his kids must marry ‘white Christians’ to get trust funds

A Texas judge running for Dallas County commissioner has admitted that he set up a living trust with a clause that rewards his children for marrying another christian white person, the Dallas Morning Newsreports.

“I strongly support traditional family values,” Cunningham said. “If you marry a person that is of the opposite sex, that’s Caucasian, that’s Christian, they will get a distribution.”

The idea that Christianity is based on race is unbiblical. The only admonition given within the Bible is marrying someone of the opposite sex and Christian. What this man speaks of is a false Christianity. Know the difference between those who know Jesus and those who do not.

This is the same teaching the KKK churches promoted and it is also the reason the white protestant church in America is dying. So many cannot let go of their whiteness for Christ.
