Are you progressing in your walk with God? – Are you, “growing up in all things concerning Him?” If your answer is, “Oh yes, – I’m learning so much. I have gained so much knowledge.” You may need to ask yourself if the knowledge you’ve acquired has transformed your life? There is a great difference in gaining knowledge and information and putting that information into practice every day. The book of James says we must be “doers of the Word and not hearers only.”
Each week we hear some of the best preaching in the world. There are loud “amens” along with thunderous applause as expressions of agreement to the anointed Word being preached. As you leave the sanctuary, you join with others in exclaiming what a great message you just heard. But what do you do with that “great message” once you leave the parking lot? True Pastors are anointed to give us a Word from God for the purpose of encouraging us, giving us hope, equipping us, correcting us, challenging us and ultimately causing us to mature in Christ Jesus. This is true every time you hear the Word taught, whether it’s Sunday morning, or evening or at a weekly Bible study. So when you hear the Word taught, I challenge you to ask yourself, “How am I going to walk this out? How do I live this?” Because that’s how we mature as Believers. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what He wants to do in you through the Word you heard. If you’re still doing the same things you did when you first became a Believer, struggling with the same issues and you’re hearing the Word taught consistently, there’s a problem. You’re not growing. The Word of God will transform your life if you’ll “do the Word.”

In Jaclynglenn’s video Religion: Society’s Cancer speaks about Christianity as the cancer. Her doctrine is along the lines of New Age leader, Barbara Marx Hubbard, who has stated, “people will either change or die,” for “that is the choice.” “This act is as horrible as killing a cancer cell. It must be done for the sake of the future of the whole.
Her doctrine is dangerous and her end goal is lethal. Be vigilant as her words are from Satan.
14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the Lord. – Psalm 14:1-4
It is important to keep at the forefront of ones mind the cross. Why? It is the foundation of Christianity. Paul said, “for I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2). As the days progress there will be more and more challenges to your faith in Jesus.
Evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13). How? Through smooth speech and cunning craftiness will men and women be moved by teachers to fulfill the requirements of the flesh and not God.
Be on guard to remember when you are despised for doing well, that Jesus, who was perfect was crucified. Steven a man filled with the Spirit of God was stoned to death. Many others within scripture and within our contemporary setting are being killed for telling the truth.
So, if you feel bad or beaten and you know your living holy, understand the wicked are being set up and they will have their day. Because God is just he will make sure you have your day as well. Your eternal life is on the way.

I am determined to move beyond myself and extend my care for others. I will not allow an apathetic disposition to uproot the plan of God. I will extend love as far as I can and depend upon my God to hold me up. I will not trust in man nor be dismayed by apathetic so-called Christians who do not take the word of God seriously.
I will not fear when God clearly has spoken upon the pages of his book that he brings with his Spirit POWER. POWER to defeat fear and give me a sound mind. My mind has become filled with God’s wisdom and I choose to lose my mind and receive his. I suggest we daily do this. The world is growing darker. We must arm ourselves with the same mind of Jesus and prepare to suffer.
Suffer for loving the world while it rejects us. Suffer while we extend love and receive hate. Suffer for the cause of Christ. You can suffer and have joy at the same time. Have you ever hurt over a lost loved one that was heaven bound?
I thank God I was once blind, but now praise the name of Jesus, I see.
