Be Careful, When You Speak on Behalf of God

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination (Proverbs 28:9). Put another way, God hates foolish people who pray. You must understand that God is HOLY and He takes coming before Him as serious business. Similar to a meeting with your CEO or the President of the company. You address the individuals that write your checks differently then say a person on the street.

We must be extremely careful when addressing God and speaking on His behalf. No one goes unpunished for speaking like a false prophet. Better to qualify your words for clarity sake before God and man. If you are speaking on behalf of God, it better be His Words or you will pay dearly.

People are praying against COVID-19, but did you ask God about it? Who brings pestilence in the Bible? God or Satan? When the disciples ask Jesus, how should we pray? What did Jesus say? Our Father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done. They kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. The very first thing we pray for is the kingdom of God and God’s will be done. His will is to judge the earth of sin, redeem sinners, and create a new earth. Are you praying God’s will or your own? Is your vision, the vision of God or your own?

Many ministers have shouted and sing about God’s victory over COVID-19 and have been struck by the disease and have died. I ask again? Who in the Bible sends pestilence is it God or Satan? Are you praying God’s will or your own? Have your prayers become abominations? Be careful, when you speak or pray in public on behalf of God.
