Save Yourself

trackSaving yourself is Biblical. In the midst, of loving your neighbor as yourself, loving your wife, like Christ loves the church, you must save yourself first. The man or woman who losses their life for Jesus first, will find it. The man or woman who is concerned about God will be concerned about the people they spend time with. The people you befriend will either strengthen your relationship with Jesus or diminish it.

A Christian should never forget that a non-believer is your enemy. They are your enemy because they operate under the delusion of Satan. This means they may not believe their speech harms you, but their speech will be stained with the flesh and not be useful for you to maintain a lifestyle of holiness. This does not mean you become hostile or ungodly toward them, it means you must guard your heart against them.

Satan will use them to steal, kill and destroy your relationship with Jesus. Satan will use ungodly people to help drag you to hell. God tells us to separate ourselves and save ourselves from this corrupt generation. It will not be easy, but it will be safe. Never forget the way that leads to eternal life is narrow and few find it. At the writing of this blog, thousands have descended into hell and many of them are able to point to people who were directly instrumental in their descent.

Save yourself through separating yourself unto Godly people and forsaking those who may appear to have your best interest in mind, but are the devils slaves.

  1. This is a parody article…right? Only Jesus Christ, the Son of God, can save people. And as for the “non-believer is your enemy” statement, yes, those who are not for Christ are against Christ, but, love you neighbor as yourself requires Christians to seek out the non-believer and help them find the Savior of mankind, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

    • For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, SAVE YOURSELVES from this untoward generation. Then those who gladly RECEIVED his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them (Acts 2:39-41). Save yourselves is a command to us and those who chose to receive the gospel are saved. Many are called, but few are chosen? Why are few chosen? Even though they were called? Because they did not save themselves and receive God’s Word. Yes! The Bible tells us to love our enemies and do good to them that despiteful use us, so God can judge them.
