Missionary work has a Scriptural basis, but unfortunately it may be weaponized. You should always question why someone wants to help you, but will not help those in ones own country or family. Always look for patterns of behavior and follow the logic. Would you take care of someones else’s kids before your own? Would you make sure the kid down the block is fed and neglect your kids?
So why would someone leave their country to help others in another country. When they have starving children in the one they left? Does that fit the logic test or is there something sinister underneath?
