God’s Economic Plan

economy
When God gave rules to his people Israel, he told them to charge outsiders interest, but family is not to be charged interest. This creates wealth for those within the family of God and protection against poverty. God also provided wisdom for actions that diminish wealth. He mentioned drunkenness, partying, and whorish women should be avoided. Those who were unable to control their flesh would fall victim to diminished wealth and sorrow.

Do not give your strength to women, Or your ways to that which destroys kings. It is not for kings, O Lemuel, It is not for kings to drink wine, Or for rulers to desire strong drink, For they will drink and forget what is decreed, And pervert the rights of all the afflicted. Give strong drink to them that are perishing.

                                                                                                                  – Proverbs 31:4-6

You want to be wise in your dealings with evil men and women. Those who pervert sexuality, business, and money. You want understand their hate for God and his servants. You want to understand that few will inherit God’s kingdom and the road that leads to eternal life is narrow. Don’t fight the Word, but save yourself and teach your children so that they may escape God’s ultimate wrath when it arrives.

P.S. Many things lead to vanity and vexation of spirit. Do not expend too much energy for vanities sake, but have both eyes open and understand what the will of the Lord is for your life.
