Woman kidnapped, beat, robbed man she met online for sex, deputies say

A South Florida woman and two accomplices were arrested over the weekend after beating, kidnapping and robbing a man she met online for sex, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

Jesse Nicole Rodriguez, 30, was arrested following a long evening that started with her meeting the victim at a hotel for sex.

The victim met Rodriguez at the Extended Stay Hotel at 3873 W. Commercial Boulevard after arranging the encounter through the Backpage classified website.

After initially performing sexual acts, Rodriguez tied up the victim with a cell phone cord and went through his pockets, removing $180 in cash, his wallet, cell phone and car keys.

BSO deputies say Rodriguez struck the victim several times in order to get the PIN number for his debit card.

Rodriguez then called an accomplice, later identified as Latrise Lenoir, 24.

The victim stated that Rodriguez and Lenoir laughed and made fun of him while he was still tied up in the hotel room. Read more

She persuaded him with persuasive words; with her smooth talk she compelled him. Suddenly he went after her like an ox that goes to the slaughter, like a stag prancing into a trapper’s snare till an arrow pierces his liver—like a bird hurrying into a trap, and he does not know that it will cost him his life. So now, sons, listen to me, and pay attention to the words I speak. Do not let your heart turn aside to her ways—do not wander into her pathways; for she has brought down many fatally wounded, and all those she has slain are many. Her house is the way to the grave, going down to the chambers of death. – Proverbs 7:21-27
