Christian’s Are Not Called To Run From Bad News

Christian

Jesus said, “My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. They are not of the world, even as I am not of it. Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world” (John 17:15-18). “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me” (John 17:20-21).

You may have noticed that my blog is filling with news clips of horrific crimes against humanity, you may be tempted to fear or hide your head in the sand, but that would be to disobey God. God has not kept you on this planet to run from society and hide, but to change it with the message of the truth. Way too many Christians think only of themselves and don’t take any time to pray for anyone outside of their immediate family.

Our way of life, as we know it, is becoming increasingly difficult. Wickedness is prospering. The murderer is prospering. The rapist and peadophile is prospering. If men can be with men and women with women, how can anyone really discriminate against the rapist or peadophile? Both have a genuine feeling for that person. What law prevents your cat and dog from being defiled with man. Nothing, but the Christian in prayer and sharing the message of truth and your testimony of salvation.

We know that wickedness will eventually overtake the Christian and we will seemingly lose the battle as our heads will be placed on platters for the world to mock us. It has been prophesied, but until then we must continue to contend for the faith delivered to us by the disciples of Jesus. We must war and fight against our flesh, demons, and fallen angels by the power of the Holy Spirit.

You have not been given a spirit of fear, but LOVE, SOUND MIND, & POWER!
