This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests, which we have asked from Him (1 John 5:14-15).
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. “Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it (John 14:12-14).
And signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (Mark 16:17-19).
P.S. you do not test God with the snake thing. If it happens then be confident. The same as casting devils out and laying hands on the sick. You are not to lay hands suddenly on any man. Everything the believer in Jesus does, must be done by following the Holy Spirit. That is why it is so important to have a relationship with Jesus and not a relationship with the Bible.
Ladies, if you did not catch it. This goes for you to. You should also be walking in this power. The only restriction in the word concerning women is the office of Bishop and Deacon for the purpose of good order and discipline.
If you are not learning how to have a relationship with Jesus in your church and walk with power, it is time to trade up.
I am always amazed at the New Year. Yesterday the gym was packed. I saw more fat people on treadmills, bikes, and ab machines, with personal trainers than I have seen since last January in 2013. The determination in their eyes almost makes me believe I will see them in February, but after a few years, I am more than confident this small annoyance will pass and I will be free to grab whatever machine I desire.
I am sure this will be the year things change and I hear the confident preacher prophesying that this is the year of increase. This is the year of God’s abundant favor. Shout for joy! God is about to give you houses you did not build, hydrogen cars you never owned and that new 75,000 thousand Mustang, sorry I’m the only one getting the Mustang.
Just one week into January and things are already changing for the better and only exciting days are up ahead. I just love the New Year.
However, I ran into a snag when I found out recently that for all the things money can buy, I am still headed straight toward the grave. My hair will come out, gray or both and my face will wrinkle. My strength will lessen and my stamina will fade away and what will I have left?
I hope this year you decided to focus on prayer. Pray for family members who do not know the Lord. Pray for God to bring you into his secret place. Pray for wisdom. Pray for peace that passes understanding. Pray for God’s deliverance from sin. Pray for protection against the darkness that is growing thick. Pray for discernment.
I assure you this year will bring more sorrow. There will be more deaths by the hands of children and the heart of many women will grow cold. Women will increase in wealth and the need for men will decrease and they will burn toward one another and the aftermath will be devastating.
Prayer protects the house. You cannot fight a supernatural war watching the Hobbit. Parents teach your children how to pray, pray together and pray yourself. You better start praying or watch your house become ruins.
It never ceases to amaze me the confusion people have when they borrow from everything they hear. The amount of information in this world is endless. The doctrines and the philosophies are two numerous to be contained in ones mind. The different nuances of each is enough to make you thrown in the toil, that is why I love the simplicity of the gospel.
I know theologians abound and they intimidate some into thinking that the Scriptures are so deep, but Jesus said, you must come to him, like a little child. Is this not the sweetest thing? Jesus said, if you love me you will keep my commands and the commands are broken down into two. Love God and mankind who were created in his likeness.
The prayer of Atheist should not be suprising. We know that there are spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places as well as God the Father. Satan desires worship just like God. Both are part of the spiritual hosts that exist in the heavenly places. The experience Atheist have with prayer makes sense. Unfortunately, the only way to the Father is through his Son Jesus, so the spirit he/she is communicating with does not love him/her and will lead them to destruction.
P.S. Everyone prays. Even those who claim they have no religion. Don’t believe the lies of those who say they don’t. They may not pray, in what some consider, traditional prayer, with folded hands, but is that really the only way, believers in Jesus pray? Communication between the spiritual hosts happens to us all. The foundational difference is Jesus is the only door to access the one true God.

Then He spoke a parable to them that men always ought to pray and not lose heart Luke 18:1
As a believer in Jesus the unanswered prayer is the most discouraging aspect of prayer. Much of our prayer is to fulfill our own selfish lust, but for those prayers offered that have not been tainted with selfish lust we wonder why the delay. So our response is to cease praying about it. Now if God has given you the answer and you do not like it, know that he is superior and his wisdom exceeds that of your own and he knows best. If you are waiting on the Lord, have faith the answer is on the way. The unjust judge in the parable in Luke 18 granted the woman her request because of her continual coming and God has promised to do the same for us, in the midst of him being slow to move. The requirement is having faith in God continually and ceasing not in same prayer request and it shall come to pass.

Sometimes your interrupted sleep may be an angel. It may be the prayer prayed or the fast you have committed to. Answer it. Get out of your bed and pray a short prayer of your desire. If your are with your spouse in bed, go downstairs, bathroom, or hallway. You need not take to long. The angel is busy. Pray and then go back to sleep. I assure you, the nudge you experience will be no more. Do not miss these opportunities.
